Curbside Recycling Collection

This is a bi-weekly service. Check here for the Recycling Schedule in your area.

Blue boxes must be used for curbside pickup. They may be purchased for $6.00 each at the Public Works Office at 126 County Road 32(Monday & Thursday mornings only) or at Shire Hall at 332 Picton Main Street.

You may use any of the recycling depots at all Landfill/Transfer Stations on Wednesdays and Saturdays for your recyclables. When you have a large quantity of materials (more than three full blue boxes), please use the depots instead of placing them at the curb. Large bags of paper, plastic or other material must be dropped off at a depot. This saves room in the recycling truck and ensures that all of your material will be picked up.
